Idle Stabilization Min/Max tables

Post by vincentav8 »

Hi, I'm trying to work out how and when to use the Idle Stabilization Min/Max/Advance/Retard tables.
I'm running a z32 ECU in an R33/RB25DET + type 2 board.

Looking at the original bin file for an R33/RB25DET, these tables are populated ... however on all the z32 ECU for RB25DET bins that I've seen, the Idle Stabilization tables are set to zero.

Is this function handled by various other tables in the z32 ECU? or should these tables be used?

any advice much appreciated.
cheers,
Andy

These tables are used as such in the Z32 ECU (ie the code accesses them) however they are not populated as you have noticed. I never bothered copying the RB25 tables across as it appeared it was not required when using starting from the Z32 ECU and maps

Tables which were of importance were the fuel, timing and enrichment and idle timing tables to be copied
