"Not known ECU number" check is still there
Untick the 'verify loaded image' tickbox in File > Config. I'm not turning this feature off permanently, its just now configurable

I'm not sure with the email notification thing. This forum was meant to be upgraded to VBulletin ages ago. Just spoke to the administrator and they will start working on the transfer again
How do you do to have some regressions in each release !?

Now, when you launch Nistune many times (and basically after 2 times), the latest bin file loaded is not reloaded automatically .... have fun

Nistune has many thousands of lines of code and sometimes changing one thing can affect other things. In this case usual testing would not pick up the problem unless running the software three times in a row and picking up this issue.

With regards to this current problem, I clear out previous ROM images when the address file changes (no points having them open since they will be garbage with incorrect address parsing).

It just happens when Nistune gets loaded initially it loads the last address file. This cleared out the previous ROM image saved for the second time Nistune is opened, it no longer appears

I've adjusted a flag which is used to clear out the ROM images on address file load to not clear out when Nistune is started. Get that out in a release early next week

This might not be related to .12.6 but if you move with the cursor in the VQ-Map data sheet (where you see %, voltage, value) it would be good to have the corresponding point in the VQ-graph highlighted (and vice versa).
(Just as in the 3-D graph (fuel/timing) for example)

Also:
It would be really great if you could change the design/colour/position of the connect/disconnect button.
I feel it should be on the far right and possibly coloured either red or green (depending on connection status)

You could colour it half green/yellow for stream mode and fully green for tuner mode.
Red when not connected.

Attached a crude example where I enlarged the size a bit.

I just realized that this button is already turning green, but I overlooked it

With the cursor follows. I've added as an enhancement item. Most tables are only 16 cells so its never really been needed but would be handy with the VQ map table. Currently there is only the map trace cursor on there

The stream/tuner mode icon will eventually disappear when I combine the two modes to be automatic (ie default streaming, except when changes made) so then the consult button will be on the right

It appears none of the forum emails (account generation, password reset or new accounts) have worked since 13 Dec 2012 which was when my contact form was also broken for about two weeks.

I've emailed the web service provider to try and get this fixed up. It seems like they changed something and broke the services we were running

Second, I noticed Nistune hangs up in Active tests menu:
most of the time when clearing self learn maps each time when playing with VTC on/off it seems Nistune gets out of sync easily on Conzult the only option is to kill Nistune, and so, no crash report
I've performed the following:

1. Z32 address file, ECU running from emulator (Z32 image)
2. Connect consult (FACTORY mode)
3. Operations > Active Tests
(a) select 'Clear self learn'
(b) tick test on
(c) click Start
(d) gets cleared
(e) click Stop
4. Close window or repeat (3) with VCT, fuel pump etc

Repeated the above but no crashing so I will need a debug log from you

If I close the window without Stop then no crash, but consult no longer active (needs disconnect/reconnect) but does not freeze

version 0.12.10
Fixed bugs:
HCR32 11Uxx image detecting as A31 RB20DET fix
Investigate post fast playback freeze up still occuring with AFR trace open
TPS enrichment tables. Fixed B14 tables
Fix odd/even save BIN file name error
Main Image name not kept on subsequent startups
Double K constant when halfing VQ maps on BNR32 GTR
Consult tight loop when ECU power off on during read stream length

Enhancement:
Add injection offset table for SR20
Been unwell over the last few weeks so everything has stalled. The above is the collection of necessary fixes

Also having issues with Type 5 and OBD-II Type 4 boards. They are running in the ECUs but there are some other strange things going on so trying to sort those out since I have customer ECUs here

Hi Matt,

I hope you're back to improved health!

Some thoughts ->

In the drop down menu 'Recent Files' would it be possible to select the 'slot' Where you want the
image to be loaded?

At current 'Recent files' always replaces the main images.

Also would you consider implementing keyboard shortcuts for some of the menu items?

This is on 12.10:

When you go to -> Recent Files and select a file (which is then loaded)
Nistune does not remember the file when it is restarted.

Version 0.12.11
Fixed bugs:
Separated S14/S14A/S15 TPS based boost tables from ER34/WC34
ER34/WC34 tables are TP based and updated tracing and addresses accordingly
Fixes for Type 5 K11 fuel and timing map scaling and tracing
Fixed for VE tracing using TPS vs RPM
Single cell accelerated increase/decrease in tables
Fix map highlighting for fuel/timing/boost scales
Add map highlighting for four boost tables for S14-S15
Swap high/knock boost duty table for S14/S14A

Enhancement:
AFR trace cursor posiiton to be mirrored on fuel maps
Contains mainly Type 5 K11 and associated fixes as well as Type 4 OBD-II internal changes for those ECUs affected. Boost control and correct VE mapping have been the focus of this test release

If there are no major issues then I will roll this out as 0.13 stable release and then continue working on improvements and remaining bug fixes

NTProgCE programmer software has had support added for Type 5/Type 4-OBDII boards. These will require PIC firmware upgrade on the programmers for those wanting to program these boards in future. I'm still field testing these at the moment

In 12.11 I got a few consult disconnects.
I never experienced this before and nothing has changed on my car.

Why was this window removed?

I found it helpful having some kind of visual feedback
