Injector latency value's

Post by rads_s13 »

Hi Matt,

I've finally gone for a more manly turbo a GT2871R with a .64 housing and bigger injectors, the injectors are brand new items from ASNU 600cc but they don't have latency times for them. they have sent me a pdf that it can apparently be work out from but I don't understand it. can you or anyone else help?

Cheers
Richard

Latency is the coil pin opening time if the injector. I cant seem to work it out from that chart

0.74 @ 14V looks like about the right time (offset in that graph)

You can always adjust if your idle is too rich/lean compared the the rest of the rev range AFRs

Thanks Matt, after last night's session and the night before we've ended up with a latency of 1.2 ms and seems to be working well. Just a bit for To do for cruising around
