r33 gtr maps

Post by cory »

Hey New to Nistune and I'm having trouble getting my gtr to run smooth. Also sometimes it wont start unless i hold down the accelerator down. It runs fine with a stock ecu and afrs are good on idle. Ive tried adjusting the K constant to make the afrs to sit around 14.7 but when it gets around 13.5 and up it gets jumpy. The car is fine on boost the afrs are pretty good. In the log i have included the boost afrs a little rich but i have that fixed since then. Im running a hpx maf in a 3 inch tube blow thru set up with 750 cc injectors. Any help is much appreciated

Thanks

I've had a look at the tune file and the MAF translation map is messed up (load up 05U62 as comparison and you will see)

I would suggest loading the factory image (05U62) from the ROM pack back into your ECU and make sure it starts and runs okay with that before any more changes.

If you are running stock 444CC GTR injectors and twin MAFs and they work fine with the r33 GTR ECU then it should run identical with no changes using the r32 GTR ECU

Also I noticed the TP scales were rescaled down to 48. Did you change the injector size? I would probably suggest leaving factory scaling for now (upto 88) until you have it running right

Car seems to be starting a lot better now once it's warmed up but hard to
Start when cold, afrs still vary sometime lean some times rich And the idle is sparatic

With the idle you may need to play with the MAF translation table (VQ map) around the idle area. Apparently these MAFs dont use the first 1 volt so from 80-960 you could make the values 1024 to start with. Then gradually increase the area where you see the idle issues

Your injector multiplier hasn't moved much from standard, but that would be the HPX offsetting the 750CC injectors?

You may need to adjust crank enrich, after start enrich (used for about 2-5 seconds after crank) and cold/warm enrich together if you are needing adjustment

Not sure why the AFRs are changing. Perhaps try this with O2 sensors disconnected for now to see if any different to try and get consistency
