Error code 21

After the ls2 coil pack conversion of course I am getting code 21 in the ecu. Anyone know a way to keep the ecu from logging the code? It's not a huge deal as the car runs great just trying to keep the code from showing up.

There is no way to clear the code unless your ECU shows DTC filters in Nistune and you can disable it there

The 21 feedback indicator means that the ECU is not seeing a return pulse feedback after coil fire on one of the cylinders

And DTC 21 won't affect timing?

I dont think it will but I cannot confirm for sure since I've never traced the ECU code for raising this error code back to timing routines. However you can monitor timing in consult (stream mode) and confirm timing matches what you are commanding

Timing does not seem to be affected at all according to nistune. 21 doesn't even throw a dtc light on the dash it just shows up in the ecu is all.
