Z32 ECU in RB25DET S1 with wrong base image

Post by bachig24u »

Hi Matt,
Came across a customer today that purchased a Z32ECU 40P13 and had nistune installed.

The Base image was from 41P13 instead of the correct 40P13 ent that is available.

Could this cause any bizarre behaviours that you could imagine?

plus also noticed that the Z32MAF has been upgraded from 500HP to 620HP in the latest beta 0.14

Kind regards
Sime

Yes there were further tests done with a variety of MAFs on the dyno and K constant changes were noted for each. These were used to update the MAF scalings to make them more accurate when doing resizing

Wrong base image may have been a Z32 ECU originally done for a R33 auto model but we found out later these were not fully compatible with the R33 transmission (lack of full throttle kickback). The image should be okay to use still
