99 WGNC34 Stagea RB25DET NEO

Post by SeriouR »

i need to pass an emissions test on the above vehicle and am wondering if i install a nistune would it be difficult to tune it so there are minimal emissions? i will be replacing the catalytic to help with this. Im not worried if the car has low power (i will re-tune after test) just wondering if it can be done without damaging the motor.

In theory there should be optimal emissions from factory. With a good O2 sensor and catylitic converter the ECU should be chasing stoich around idle and converting to H2O/Co2 accordingly

Nistune can adjust fueling and timing in your ECU but I wont think it will help your emissions much unless you are modifying the vehicle also
