Nistune for R33 - is this z32 ecu will work ?

Post by IceManPL »

Hi

My stock r33 ecu number is 23710-13u00 mec-r720.

I found a cheap z32 ecu: 23710-53p00

Will it work ?

Hello,

There is a cross reference list on http://www.nistune.com/support-document ... eneral.php
As far as I know all Z32 ECUs work except for the 16-Bit Versions.

If your R33 is Automatic I think there are issues ..

Let Matt clarify this

Z32_VG30DE_53P00_NA_MT - 1993 to 1995 model. Sorry this one is Type 3 style and will not work for RB25

Just out of interest:
Has it ever been identified what actually causes the issues with Type 3 (16 bit)?

We dont have the internal wiring mods for fitting to an RB25 documented or a tune.

Also the injection changing on this 16 bit ECU works differently. You cannot just change K constant for injectors. Found another injection adjustment parameter since which needs changing also 'injection change'

That will work fine. Blitz should be socketed but no epoxy coating the chips (which mines use)
