Base Map / Drivable Map

Post by jaredperry »

Hello,

I have recently finished my Datsun 510 with a CA18DET Swap. I have Nistune and the LC-2 to manage, but I am kind of confused as to where to start. I am wondering if anyone has a map that I could flash the ECU with to at least get the motor broken in.

Top Mounted 20G
TIal External Waste gate
Manual Boost control
Z32 MAF
720cc Injectors

Thank you very much!

Do the Operations > Resize injectors and Operations > Resize MAF to start with

Then adjust K constant until AFRs @ 2000rpm are around 14.7:1

When you refer to "operations" are you implying to find the k value estimated value in addition to selecting the appropriate MAF then flashing?

"Operations" is the menu item in Nistune. Refer to the software manual 8)

Thank you for clarifying...

I have read several manuals, but just wanted to be certain.

I was able to change my MAF and I think the injectors? Car is now kickin out smoke implying that its running extremely rich.

If I post up my current map, can someone take a look and help me through this process? Im a complete noob at this. I "think" I understand the process after reading several manuals, but its also coming off a little intimidating to me.

Thank you,
Matt

Try uploading the tune at the end of the this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2868

See how that goes. Then adjust injection multiplier to fix the AFRs up
