Nistune on Youtube and Facebook

Post by Matt »

Keep posted on updates on our facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/NistuneDevelopments?ref=hl

I've created a Youtube channel to upload training videos this week:
https://www.youtube.com/user/nistuner

This week covers tuning with a HPX MAF on R34 and R32 ECUs (on an RB25) as well as the different MAF types and tubes/mounts available

Any requests for other videos please let me know what you could like covered!

Nice videos. Finally got around to posting up some how to vids. LOL
The videos are just what I was waiting for since I'm still getting my car ready. The only thing is that it's going a little too fast in the explanations and changing the screens around. Maybe a bigger and easier to see mouse courser might help a bit. But overall good and very informative.
And you don't need any fancy lighting and editing like previously stated in some older posts. :D

I would like to see some videos showing some dyno tuning from scratch after showing how to do the preliminary setups. Tuning on the dyno after changing the MAF and injectors.

Thanks for the videos and keep up the excellent
work guys.

Thanks for the feedback. I need a better screen capture program since the frames are a bit jumpy on this one

We will be doing a dyno tune from scratch on the R34 this Thursday so I'll be doing another video then (1000CC + HPX + E85)

Cool . I'll keep an eye out for it.
Are you gonna use the HPX or the HPX N1 MAF?
Can you post on this thread when the video is up?

This is a noob request , but can you do a How to Tune Sesame Street tier?
something like this guide. I am still trying to crawl around nistune and getting my bearings and im worried that pushing that burn to rom will make my engine a coffee table stand.

This is our Sesame Street guide!

http://www.nistune.com/docs/Workshop%20 ... 0Notes.pdf

It covers how to get started. I put it together for our last lot of workshop training. There are other training notes on our documents page (like these power point slides) which go over the basics

Is it a little different for the cars using the Feature Pack?

I just watch the Maf tuning . I need to watch it again >_< , I think my problem is the navigation of the program and need to be more familiar where things are .

i think a lot of troubleshooting videos would help

like say

"sr20det, just installed z32 afm, 740cc injectors and a bigger turbo? how to get this combo started and what not to do etc."

it would help me right now thats for sure.

Thats next on the list for videos. Normally when I do dyno runs for testing I dont get enough time to do a proper video so we would need a dedicated training session to do the video
