VE on RB25DET NEO

Post by NeWT »

Hi, everyone! I'm trying to understand how does VE map on NEO car works. Somewhere it is written, that X axis of this map is TP (Load), but somewhere it is written that X axis of the map is TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).
As I'm looking on stock values of this map, it is like X axis is TP (Load), but if I'm looking to cursor, which is traced in Tuner mode, it looks like X axis is TPS, 'cause it moves to righter cells the more I press the pedal.
Could someone explain?

It is TPS based after further investigation a while ago.

Full NEO tuning information is here on our website in the NEO tuning document:

In my stock .bin, VE map is scaled 0-255 by the X axis. So, is 0-255 is a 0-100% of throttle openings?

Yes that is correct. There should never be rescaling of the TPS scale for this map

Thanks. Now it's clear. Misunderstanding was because of wrong named X-axis in VE Graph.

Want to report a bug. When in tuner mode I press a throttle pedal quickly, mark goes to the right cells, but then quickly to the left cells although pedal is still pressed.
