TTP Min/Max

Post by modulation »

Tuning for BOV vent to atmosphere on a suck through MAF.

I understand I need to adjust ttp min and ttp max tables to a certain range where it doesn't affect conditions under load, but doesn't allow for afr to spike after bov activation.

How do I know what the current TP is when playing a log?

Look at the 'TP index' value in the log during playback

I too am trying to adjust my tune for a VTA BOV. However, mine is on an S14 KA24DE using a 72F0F ecu. I am unable to find TTP Min in nistune. I see Max Load (TP) but not Min. Is it possible to adjust TTP Min on this ECU?

There is no TPmin on the later ECUs (S14 KA24DE, R34/WC34 RB25 etc). You can tweak the VQ map (bottom end) to increase the load this way. After adjusting the VQ map it will show as 'NONE FOUND' in resize but that does not matter

With TPmax this is a max load clamp. If you reduce it, it stops the ECU from measuring more load than the MAF is reading. You can tweak it by adjusting in the areas where there might be some airflow on deceleration, but as long as you dont muck up it reading correct airflow on acceleration.

Best to run a plumbback BOV to avoid needing to muck with these tables
