Hi All,
Just updated the LM-2 from 117 firmware to 118 for LSU4.9 support.
used innovates firmware update utility. worked fine but after some period noticed wideband randomly rebooting,
also randomly recalibrating itself whilst monitoring live exhaust stream using the LSU4.2 sensoring that was previously working.
Resulted in wideband input voltage way off reality and totally useless.
Not 100% sure if a flaky power connection caused it at this stage (rebooting device) but still doesn't explain the LM-2 started recalibration whilst engine was running.
I swapped LSU4.2 over to a new spare and had same result. eliminated sensor as cause.
Sent support request to Innovate and waiting for a response.
in the meantime and against innovates best practice, I have Downgraded to firmware 117 and will test shortly.
Just putting it out there if anyway see's weird issues after firmware 118 upgrade.

Re: LM-2 firmware 118
I don't update my unit that often. Let us know what their response is...
Re: LM-2 firmware 118
I've rolled back to 117 and it appears to be stable again.
maybe lsu4.9 support isn't quite there yet along with lsu4.2 backwards compatability.

Re: LM-2 firmware 118
My LM-2 unit has the updated 4.9 compatibility. I used it (standalone) but hadn't noticed problems using it this week (only for about half an hour). Did not check the firmware on it.... was replacement unit from innovate about two months ago
Re: LM-2 firmware 118
no response from innovate.
Matt, what sensor are you using with it, 4.2 or 4.9?

4.2 however I was not able to get my laptop to show the USB input when using it this week... need to try another laptop
