Matt, have you looked at the J30 ecu at all? It's sorta like a 4dr z32 nonturbo, that needs a turbo in a bad way.

I see a maxima binfile but it's not the right one. My j30 has the n62 maf, the one in the binfiles has different values, looks like the z31 vq map to me.

Bin files? Where abouts. Are you talking the VQ map directory?

I believe, and this may not be correct, it was in a bunch of files you sent a while back. If you have one, I'd like to take a look at it. Can I dump the file with nistune? I never thought to do that 'til now.

Have a look in the J30 directory which is in the Type 1 subdirectory in the releases area. I've uploaded all the bins tonight

I looked at both of those, neither have the correct vq map.

It turns out that after lifting the car up and inspecting it underneath that some poor body work was done to cover up a bad case of rust.

Send me a ROM image through. Those ROMs ... one of them I extracted myself from a J30 posted to me and the other was emailed through

These are Type 1 so no imbuilt consult so you will need to pull the chip and read it in an EPROM programmer

We can compare the VQ maps then
