on a r34 ecu with type 3 nistune in a s1 stagea, i'm getting lean air/fuel ratio on decel ( 16:1 - 17:1, think i've even seen 18:1). this isnt a quick lean out, i'll have these ratios until the throttle is applied.
the type 2 ecu has measures to rich up on decel, unless i've missed something theres no way to rich up on decel on the type 3 r34 ecu.
any tips and tricks to rich up on decel?
thanks

Re: too lean on decel, r34 ecu
R34 ECU takes Type 4 board (not Type 3)
Have a look at your MAF voltage on the lean out issue. What MAF are you using? In the area of the VQ map being accessed can you increase the values in the map here? What about increasing latency
Ideally seeing the tune file and log of the issue with AFRs would help with diagnosing the problem

at 0% throttle on decel fuel cut will be active, you can adjust this on a table when it happens and how much but when throttle is closed lean ratios off the scale are normal.
