AAC at 80% while driving?

I'm trying to understand why my AAC duty is at 80% while being far from closed throttle or low RPM?
I always thought AAC gets into action towards idle stabilisation and engine start.

Perhaps its a default value. I've not looked into the idle control code to really know why it uses that value

OK, thanks Matt .. I can only assume that this seems to be the default.
How's that on other ECUs?
