New User..R32 Gts4..Consult connected yesterday, now it won't.

Post by Greyztrack »

New user and just yesterday, I connected the consult to my R32 Rb20det and it worked fine. When I went to connect it the following day, it wont connect. I just have the single red light on the cable and when i click on the downward green icon or any other icon, i get a prompt that the consult is not connected. What could have changed that it will no longer connect? Laptop is windows 10. I tried downloading nistune again and still no luck. Checked device manager and plms is good. Any help appreciated. Ty

What port is the consult port connected to?

File > Configuration > Consult port
(Should show COMX)

When you press CONSULT button (not UP / DOWN buttons) then do you get the TX/RX lights flashing on the cable at all? If you get only the one light flashing when attempting connection, then you have an issue with the consult port to vehicle

If the check engine light (and ECU LED) is on but not flashing then the Nistune board is working okay
