Choosing base image for z32-rb25

Post by mtnickel »

Hi there,
Just wondering if it matters which base image I chose for my board.

I’ve got an a18-a72 mb6
Which corresponds to a 1991 na 30P60 rom

I am using the z32 ecu on rb25. I did wire in the idle switch, so that won’t be an issue. I’m not sure what other changes were made to the rb25onZ32 basemap over the 5 revisions. I’m running z32 knock sensors as well, though may disable a lot of the knock correction.

I’m switching base images to a feature pack and just wondering if it matters which I chose. Keep it USDM and closest year? Or do the later build revisions run better?

47P1F?
41P0F?
37P0F?

More or less starting from scratch tune wise. Bigger Bosch injectors, ford Slot maf, bigger turbo. Etc. wanting to change to injection multiplier instead Of K constant too.

I've always used the JDM 41P03 (41P0F for feature pack) which is upto V5

Attached are the latest files. This will work in the 30P60 ECU

Is that image any different than the z32 41P0F image?

Also, is there a change log for all the rb25 map revisions. Is it mostly to have it operate better on stock rb25 maf and injectors?

Mark.

The actual base file (ROM) is the same as Z32 41P0F (no firmware changes) only the maps are different for the RB25

There is no change log, just amendments to the original version based on feedback or noted things which needed adjusting, so use the latest version. Nothing to do with original MAF/injectors

You can compare revisions yourself using the compare maps feature in the software to see what has changed
