Correct Volt Latency Change value?

Post by tim_tub »

How is the "Volt Latency Change" behaving according to the volt?

My injectors has an average latency change of 44,33 ms per volt.
Is that what I should sett the "Volt Latency Change" to?

Details of latency calculation have previously been covered on the forums here (search) but also here:
https://www.nistune.com/docs/Workshop%2 ... %20Web.pdf

In short, look up advertised latency for injectors @ 14V and use this. Nissan calculates the latency using a linear caculation for other voltages, with 14V being the base latency setting

If unsure, then setup base mixtures (stoich, near 0% fuel trim at cruise conditions, say 2000rpm light load) and then afterwards adjust idle by trimming latency until you are happy with idle conditions. Not all cars will idle happily at stoich. My S14 used to like a bit richer (say 13:1) so I had a richer latency
