ROM Pack files - 'unsupported'

Post by CoZZm0 »

Although in the 'unsupported' category i just thought i'd confirm some part numbers for you.

23710-2N510 = JN15 VZ-R N1 Ver1 SR16VE MT
23710-2N560 = JN15 VZ-R N1 Ver2 SR16VE MT

23710-5J000 = WP11 SR20VE CVT/AT (all the SR20VE's were AT/CVT transmissions, none came factory manual).

Cheers.

Thanks for the info. I've looked into the directories.

Most Nissan ECUs end with 0x/6x for MT models (0x = S1, 6x = S2) and 1x/7x for AT models. So the first one you mentioned doesn't make sense

With the 5J000 if there were not MT models, then this breaks the naming convention (but also makes sense since no MT models) same as 0V300 for the S1 Stagea which were AT only

I guess the regular guy was taking a nap on those days when they created the part numbers !

Since there were no MT models ever, then the xxx10 never gets used, so xxx00 instead for those models

Because i like to share, here's the listing of VE ECU part numbers i've found/confirmed so far.

I started on this journey to see if there were different tunes between different 'types' of vehicles as some are luxury and others are marketed as more sporty along with trying to sort out the issues i have had with this car, to also see if there were different programs for the CVT TCU's that might make it behave differently.

Thanks for the info. Its difficult to get a concise list together. Nissan released a tech bulletin for the US models, but the EU models appear to not had similar info released to the public
