ACRONAME S27 UART A/D converter

Post by zimzoom_14 »

Hi..Does anyone have any experience with this FTDI converter.? Concept Z sold it to me as part of the NISTUNE istall on my Z32TT.
Iam pairing it to a Glowshift 7 AFR WB with a 0-5v analog output which is all working fine as a standalone.Iam running Nistune on a recent laptop running W10. It came with the correct cable and was about 16USD.
Nistune and consult are working fine with my ECU.
Any tips would be great.I have configured the port using DLP, and the csv file, but WB times out shortly after engaging WB1 option.
Thanks in advance.

Never heard of/used that converter. Is it DLP compatible?

Check with Concept Z about that since they sold you it

it has the FTDI chipset according to docs, and should be DLP compatible. Ive tried all of the lookups, no joy.My WB 0-5v output iis working, but NT dosnt bring up any numbers in the WB window, it just times out.
I have access to a PL2303 device, but i fear it may be a china special.

FTDI is just the USB/serial converter chip. DLP has another chip which does the protocol and A/D conversion.

If it doesnt work with Nistune then it is probably a different protocol
