Bad Board

Post by bsdkllr »

I had an ecu get wet and stop working. i tried reflashing the base image thinking it got corrupt but im getting write failed wrote 0F got FF at 0x0000
and a test shows chip 1 d0 -d7 stuck high. so im guessing that it has a bad chip. from my deduction this would be the STK11C88-NF45I and if so can i replace this? and if so what is the current chip as this is out of production.

You will need to send it here for repairs. Yes the simteks are out of production a while ago after Cypress bought them out and we had to change the board design and also drop the voltage to 3.3V as 5V parts were also made obsolete!

d0 -d7 stuck high => Means probably it is the Xilinx chip since all lines are low

Contact me via the website or info@nistune.com for repairs
