How to disable software deactivation

Post by ttcarguy »

Hi Matt,
I am using an older laptop running Windows 8.1 and the version of Nistune I have installed is working just fine for me. I don't want to update my Nistune software at the moment so I would like to know if there is anyway to turn off the software deactivation?

Thanks.

What version do you have installed? How come you don't want to update?

There should not be any reason to update. This is mandatory to ensure board compatibility with other boards, and our protection against pirated versions

My POS asus netbook is running windows 7 basic 32 bit. I am dreading the day it isn't supported anymore. I have so many things running off of it. My Baldur control systems newest software isn't compatible with it on the latest update. Its slow, but fits nicely between the center console and my passenger seat. oh well.

If it is any help, the latest version of Nistune still supports Windows XP (!)

We updated the installer, and then got complaints from some customers, so ended up using the latest XP compatible installer since the rest of the software still supports it. With Win7 that will not be a problem
