Any benefits in using a pot style TPS with Nistune?

My car is a 89 Z31 and it has a on/off style tps. Are there any benefits in using a pot style TPS with Nistune and a Z31?

No not really because the Z31 ECU doesnt have an input for this and the Z31 nissan code subsequently doesnt use this input either
