Can't remove Knock flagging on all of AFR table.

Post by modulation »

Certain parts of the AFR table don't allow me to remove the knock flag.

Also this might be related but I can't seem to make nistune change a map to have negative numbers for the raw values (or run leaner then 14.7.)

I have a WBo2 and I'm running richer in some areas then I should even though target A/F ratio is 14.7. I want to lean it out a bit more but nistune won't let me.

If I try to copy and paste a value it says "invalid value" if that value is negative. If I use the - and + to edit the cell values it won't let me go below 0.

This is on a ka24de and the stock bin file has negative numbers in it.

I'm sure I'm missing something here since I'm a newb, but would some one please educate me?

Thanks.

Its a limitation of the Nissan ECU

The value range of AFR is 0 - 255 in the 'raw view'

You cannot turn off the O2 feedback flag when the AFRs are leaner than 14.7:1 (note not knock flag)

Knock flag applies to timing maps only

You could turn off your O2 feedback flag (applies to whole map) altogether as a work around
