I have a gizmo made by Greddy (Informator) that plugs into the consult socket and displays various parameters. I bought it before I even heard of Nistune. I now plan to have the Nistune cable plugged pemanently into the consult socket.
I was wondering what will happan if I make a Y harness so that bothe the Nistune cable and the Greddy informator are both connected in parallel to the consult socket.
Will they both work without any problems?
Will one work if the other one is turned off?
Both won't work or evan somehow damage one another?

Both interfaces (Nistune and yours) will generate a clock signal and use the TX/RX lines to communicate
Only one device can communicate at a time when using serial cable such as consult
As to whether you can have both plugged in at the same time but off, you might be able to do that as long as the other unit is definitely not powered. You would be best to check with PLMS developments to confirm that however
