Lean area in and slightly before boost transition

Post by olliecast »

Hi everybody,
I`ve been doing some initial logging with my motor and a flat spot i found with my lm1 has now been confirmed with the nistune software.
Just before coming onto boost and until boost build to ~0.5bar i`m getting a wierd flatspot. AFR`s richened up nigh on immediately after it gets over its flatspot.
Now my rn14 gtir has a walbro fitted and tends to hold afr`s fine as it moves up the rev range so i`m pretty sure the fuel pump isn`t struggling.

Is this flat spot just a result of the standard ecu holding onto the flags to long as it comes onto boost?
I`ve attached log and standard gtir bin.

I ask as before i go into the relms of trying to put on my z32 and injectors again, i want to get my head around the basic principles and finish off making my amplifier knock sensor (DIY`ing it).

Cheers in advance,
Ollie
