hi everyone,
Trying to bottom a high idle problem on my rn14 pulsar.
In my old datascan it gave a reading of volts for the tps.
in nistune it gives a different digit number (see tp in the screen shot below below)
http://www.gtiroc.com/forums/attachment ... 1224706543
How do i relate this to the tps voltage in nistune? (just easier than loading up datascan each time)
Apologies if i`ve missed something easy)
Regards,
ollie
Am i going daft trying to interpret the tp value?

make sure you are looking at the right thing
TP = Theoretical pulsewidth (value used to calculate injection pulsewidth)
TPS = Throttle Position Switch (voltage typically 0 - 5 volts) relating to throttle position
after you first connect, make sure you have TPS 'ticked' in the list of consult registers
sorry I cant access that forum without getting an account on there. you can post pics on here if you wish
