Hey guys
I have a type1 board running a Liquid LPG injection system and I am looking into an ECU upgrade mainly to get sequential injection.
I have a R32 RB26 ECU, wirring harness and coils. this would be the cheapest option but how well will intergrate with the RB30
Can I use the RB30 cam sensor to trigger the ignition?
will the temp sensors etc work accurately with the type3?
what other issues will I have?
obviously I will have to change the TPS
I may end up going with an aftermarket system but if this system will work without to many head aches it could be to way to go
cheers

R32 RB26 is actually a type 2 board. you could also reprogram the Type 1 board to run the R32 ECU (but dont use the usb cable)
Sean from EFI performance is running an RB30 with an RB20 ECU. he said that he had to manually offset the CAS to get the trigger angle right. im meant to be looking at the RB20 ECU to adjust the trigger angle in software so its done properly but havent got around to that yet. But yeah it works from what he has set up
