timing map and load scales question

Post by Noodleman »

Alright i currently am running a type 4 board on a ka24de s14, when comparing maps between two .bins, can i possibly interchange the timing maps even thought the load scale is different? For example, i have a .bin from another person that has almost the same setup as i do and wanted to use the timing map he is using but his load scale is slightly different. I just want a safe timing map so i can at least get the car on the road.

you can select the map and then copy it. i would suggest copying the scales also otherwise you are going to have timing on that map operating in different load/rpm areas which may cause troubles

only if copying the fuel map... but usually it is best to have matching fuel/ignition scales so everything lines up

otherwise it can get confusing
