Post by Crazy »

How can i keep both maps on nistune.

One 110 Race gas map and One 87 octane gas map?

One for daily driving and one for going to the racetrack(switching fuels of course)

Just save one .bin as 110 Race gas and the other as 87 Octane gas and load and sync when you need one or the other, thats about teh only way I know you can have two seperate tunes.

You can use a 32k chip and use a switch to force the chip to use the lower 16 for one tune, the upper 16k for another tune.

yeah...but...having nistune... why bother doing such thing ?
I believe it is much simpler to connect a laptop, or pc, to the ECU and load the *.bin you want...

not enough memory on the chip to do this. NVRAM is quite expensive and board space limited (especially in CA18 ECUs) so the Type 1 board is quite packed and no more room for expansion with things like this
