Hi.

looking at my first log-files i had problems to interpret some values:

TP: my maxvalue was 34816. What unit is that? How many ms is that?
AFM: my maxvalue was 3451. What is that unit? How many mv is that?

other thing: (see my screenshots attached, second picture): The VQ-Map-chart shows a value of 3307 mv meaning 100% load of the AFM, but in the diagramm of the VQ-MAP there 100% means ~5Volts.

Who is right? The diagramm or the Chart?

last thing: (see my first screenshot attached, first picture). In the TPMAX-chart, what does for example the value ´8´below the 6000-column mean? 8ms?

It appears the vqmap mv table has been screwed up. It should read from 0 to 5120mv? in 80mv increments.

If I remember correctly you can convert the TP to the more usable value used in the maps by dividing it by 256. Matt will need to confirm this.

Afm unit is in mv I believe. So your afm hit 3.451volts.

ok, then there is something wrong with the nistune reading this absolutely stock bin i am still using. When i make a datalog maxing out the stock AFM in every rpm range under boost with my big turbo the AFM value does not go over a value around ~3700. I will post the datalog tomorrow so that Matt can have a look at it.

there is a new variable AFM_OFFSET which needs to be set to a base voltage for the afm in the Address file

something like
AFM_OFFSET=1500

will set it starting at 1500 millivolts

I do not understand that Matt:

I use the stock AFM which reads on Nistune about 0,45 Volts @ idle and ~3,8 Volts@ ~350RWHP.
So i would not make sence to set an offset because 0,45 V @ idle is ok

if you measure the voltage input at the AFM input line and then compare this to the ECU measured output you will notice a 1500milivolt difference

our ecu measures voltages 0 .. 5.12 volts but this is really offset 1.5 to 6.62 volts from the AFM side of things

this is why we need the offset. later model ecus actually are 0 .. 5.12 volts and require no offset only r31,z31 ecus
