Type 1 in VL NA OEM N/band 02 sensor on 0 constantly
no matter whether the 02 sensor feedback is on or off, I don't seem to see it's output voltage displayed in Nistune gauges. the gauge stays on 0.
I do notice that when the 02 feedback is ticked on/off that the idle afr's start to change. Am Imissing something here ? I'm running the latest beta Nistune and I've not seen the 02 displayed with any beta's or even the last stable version.
Any ideas? is it a feature of a primitive NA ECU?

Thanks Matt, but I replaced it a few weeks ago after a secondhand one made no difference either.
Rotten things cost $160 at Bursons and it didn't solve the issue.
I might ohm out the wiring but as the idle AFR's change when I flick the 02 feedback flag on/off, I though there may be another reason why Nistune wasn't reporting a voltage. A config or something.
Short of locating the voltage wire the sends the signal back to the ecu and simulating a low voltage on it, Any ideas?

Thanks for confirming I haven't missed something in the App config as I'm still getting familiar with it.
I'll start looking for electrical probs, I know that if I clear the 02 feedback tick box it stops missing when it's idling, so until i get a meter on to it that will do.
btw, for our first night at WSID with a Nistune ECU, we ran a 1/4 at 13.4/103Mph, I noticed a few spikes in the Z32AFM logging, I wondered if it was normal or do I have a connection problem there also. Is there any chance you could have a quick peruse and confirm if it's normal or not? I logged it all in the attached zippy.

i've seen the same spikes in my logging also with the Z32 AFM on my setup (both 5V and 0V spikes). I'm currently looking into it to see what is going on
It shouldn't be happening... just need to find the cause. I'm going to check my RB30 ECU on the bench. The diode should avoid any problems with the analogue/digital converter chip inside the ECU

Just incase it was a PC logging glitch I ran the last 2 logs in stream mode instead of Consult. (dunno if that is visible or if the capture bitrate increases)
Then I noticed that the TP hit roof when the afm registered 5volts on occasion. That indicates that to me that the ECU has actually registered the AFM spike and increase TP as it should for a 300ms or so. Hopefully the next runs will have an Innovate AFR setup as I'm waiting for a some new 4.2 7057's to arrive. Is a tiny smoothing cap worth adding to the AFM output I wonder? Maybe a patch is easier than fix!!! Look forward to your comments.

Matt this has happened for me before as well, spikes up or down I think it was in both rpm and maf zeitronix also logs rpm and feeds this to nistune

Hi Mat, I have some more logs, this time with the wideband LC-1 connected whilst terrorising the local neighbours. It may add another dimension. It frightens me to see excessively rich low to mid the some scary lean conditions in the higher rev ranges. Some even larger MAF anomilies
If you get a chance to scan through them. I'd like to know if an injector change is needed as I think if the Tp's don't exceed 52,000/204MSB/80% there's more to be squeezed out of them. Any advice absorbed happily.

OK, after much deliberation, blood, sweat and cursing, the wiring is good, the O2 sensor is good and still on feedback display in Nistune -latest beta.
I do however see that the ECU is trying frantically to adjust Afr's in the Blue ball park when ever it can. Weird.
Any ideas?

yes I'm sure it is working because it does actually adjust the Blue area but I don't see the O2 read out in Nistune though. thats whats got me bugged. in the gauges theres is nothing to see it sits there dead not swing either way or on the dashboard display nothing is visible in the bar graph either.
