Injection Timing Parameter Found! (Z31/R31/VLT)

Post by Matt »

This one has been eluding me for a long time. I found the table on the HR31 ECu some time ago and the code bases are very similar to the CR31 RB30E/VL RB30ET and eventually figured it out tonight

Anyway I've added it into the current build and testing it out ... trying to work out some cold start issues with lean injection on my R31

Well it works! ... and I managed to fix my cold start issues at the same time this morning

When upsizing the MAF the K constant gets pulled back 2x what most ECUs do. It makes the ECU run too lean then its cold

I've adjusted the TTPMin table (doubling it effectively) and that fixes the minimum pulsewidth used when cold

Now it seems it could be a bandaid fix since the problem only happens at cold starts but the car at least runs. Looking into the cold start tables more now
