z31 vg30 maf voltage spike with z32 afm

I have installed a z32 afm along with the zener diode mod, reset my maf voltage offset to 0, and everything went together good. I now have alot more resolution and more room on the big end.

however i have a rich spike condition i am trying to figure out. I took a log tonight, it drops to 1.5v randomly and causes a hiccup/sputter for a breif second. It only does it in light/no load and not in boost.

Has anyone had this issue before?

an update, I replaced an alternator that was starting to fail and the spike has almost disappeared. It is still present but not nearly as often.
