0.9.13.5 Beta Release Available

Post by Matt »

Fixes
- Closing windows when dont close select/docking problems fixed
- Windows Vista display issues on resizable windows (frame sizes in Vista chopped out cells)
- Innovate MTS Wideband crashes after upgrading to logworks SDK 3.0. Let me know how you go with this. If using other wideband and crash, then make sure you tick 'Innovate MTS' since you may have previously installed this
- Auto AFR tuner fixes with status window. Still more work on this including VE map adjustment and testing to follow

as of now, I detected an error :P lol

if you go check the version, at help->about, it shows 0.9.14.5 and not 0.9.13.5

as for the rest, I'll try to test, even though I don't have a wideband yet :(

edit: tried to open a log file made with a previous version, I think it was 0.9.12 or earlier, can't remember now, and it doesn't open...
it shows these windows:

Log file does not match selected ECU! Entry 'Temp' is not recognised.

Log file has invalid header!

actually that was in the last version

i've fixed the version to match and reuploading now!

Also I've gone through all 50 or so address files fixing up problems I've found (eg dwell time/duty and invalid maps removed). Let me know if I've missed anything!

as for opening the log files... can't open older log files... need to see if I get the time to connect the laptop to the car and do some testing.

this one i am planning to be the next 'stable' one once the remaining bugs are sorted

i renamed a lot of the consult registers as part of the consult2 work i was doing last week but unfortunately this had the adverse affect of renaming what is used for the log files. The basic testing I did on the bench including log playback but this hid the problem of older logs having different names.

Now have 0.9.13.6 with the fixes to this and I've tested with various log files from my R31 / R34 test runs and various wideband inputs

another problem cropped up but only affected 'Type 1' boards. The two DTC codes were passed through as flag registrs affecting anything after AFR (including Aux, duty cycle, TP MSB etc). I've fixed up that problem and retested also on CA18 this time with wideband again.

Now 0.9.13.7 version. Dont use the log files from previous two versions (0.9.13.5/0.9.13.6) or cut out the offending entries inside excel if you wish to use them. I've pulled those beta versions down

Please let me know if any other issues which you may find and I'll try and fix them asap so we have a stable build available

Question.

Do I uninstall the old version then install new version? or do I install over the older version.

0.9.13.8 now available. just some of the easier enhancements have been finished off such as
- Wideband on top
- More work towards resizable consult gauges (using different guages now in the consult window more to come)
- Tickbox to select all gauges

I would still like some logs for wideband showing bad numbers (innovate only?) so I can diagnose that futher. I dont see it here on any of my PCs so is a bit puzzling

just finished installing the 13.8 version, and still having problems opening later logs with this newer version.
now it shows the following window:

Log file does not match the ECU! Entry 'Knock Fuel flag' not recognised.

yep it see it. I'll check whats going on. Learnt me lesson playing around with consult registers. That section of code needs a partial rewrite into a seperate consult class which maps registers and wideband separately into one thing

Probably the next thing I'll start working on since I want to put A/T ECU and consult2 into Nistune

0.9.13.9 now uploaded

- Fix to copy maps feature not working in last few beta versions
- Fix to log reading several extended consult registers from previous files (now made the headings case insensitive)
- Updated B13 SR20DE address file with unused tables zeroed out properly
