Would like to confirm an option in the "Change Mass Airflow Meter" utility.
Is the tick box "Halve values during translation" for using a dual intake with MAF on only only half the intake.
I'm sure I read it some where and have searched all documentation, is this what it is for ?
Change Mass Airflow Meter

So when installing a "Doolz" type intake on a Z32 this should adjust the Z32 ECU to suit a dual intake where the Z32 MAF is only looking at air intake for one bank (half), this utility will take the reading from half the air intake and rescale to suit overall needs ?

Sorry to ask the same question again but I just need clarification on this.

John

dont use this on Z32 see above
dont use this on Z32 see above
>> do you just hook up two airflow meters and bridge their signal wires?
easiest way is to use an Apexi AFC/Neo
it will support input of two AFM's and will have 1 signal output.
You can have the Apexi add or average the signal of the AFM's

>> or give a rundown on what changes and why for the K val
2 intakes, 1 afm: K x 2
2 intakes, 2 afm + AFC in ADD mode: K x 1
2 intakes, 2 afm + AFC in AVG mode: K x 2
this only applies to twinturbo setups, with seperate intakes
>> apart from the ecu having two physical inputs - how different is the gtr method of dual afm's?
it basically does the same as the AFC, but it's internally handled by the ECU.
