sr20det refining

Post by Fordy »

what little bit and bobs have people done to their sr's mapping to make them run really refined for normal everyday driving?

to list what ive done so far since i use my car everyday - car is a s14a sr20det

cold start neutral main - removed some fuel and basically smoothed out the graph
cold start neutral secondary - again removed n smoothed
cold main - removed n smoothed again - cold secondary is wrong
cold throttle enrich removed n smoothed
idle/decel rpm timing - running s15 version

cold start no longer smells of overfuel :)

since im running a lightened flywheel gear changes got a bit jerky as the engine drops revs so quick, so i changed over the idle/decel rpm timing to the s15 version and  the car drives so smooth its a pleasure to drive again 8)

wonder what other experiences people are getting with the 200sx's?

yesterday i tried to make the same :)
but think i removed too much fuel, have to crank a little bit longer to start engine
maybe you can share your settings for cold start maps ? :)

i will try to make a little bit leaner map on low rpms and TP, a little advance on ignition, maybe this will help with fuel consumption, just for cruising speeds, 50-90km/h
