Post by Mitchell »

Has anyone got a base tune for a rb30det with a t70?? or something close just need one to run in my engine before I send it to get tuned. I have all the emulation and wideband to check it. Just want to get a head start with a decent tune. email me mitchell 'at' driftspec 'dot' net 'dot' nz

umm, how could u use a type 1 board? with a twin cam head.

an rb25det ecu will get you running fine, as a vl/r31 ecu wont run the rb25 CAS

you would need an R32 ECU or Z32 ECU with the RB25DET maps probably to start with but given its a RB30 bottom end and different compression ratios etc, there is no easy base tune. Straight to the dyno for that one with a retarded timing map
