Tunercode

Post by UNISA JECS »

Hi Matt haven;t been on this forum for a while but I came across this http://www.tunercode.com/ and was wondering if Nistune would soon be able to get, specifically the 8012.5 rpm limiter removed?

Thanks
Matt

Been communicating with Dave. Tuner code works on a license basis so would be charged additionally, and a separate set of firmware changes and then patched to go on the Nistune board. That is about it at this stage. Depending on demand and how final Dave has things will determine how soon this gets done

apart from modifying the consult code to allow remapping of the ECU the Nissan factory code is left standard

The Nissan factory code has some limitation at this rev limit. I'm not sure of the specific details, but was something Dave found and was able to work around

Pretty sure its some of the JDM SR20DET, B13 SR20DE and S14 SR20DE

He has effectively disassembled the whole code, made changes and then recompiled it.

With our changes, I disassemble it, search for locations to patch and copy jumps to my modified consult code.

If he made a cut down version of his reassembled changes then I should be able to repatch the code
