Having a few probs with consult

ok, thought I'd start a new thread. series 1 s14 WF 74F00 ecu- with z32 maf 550cc jecs injectors. I just need to upload a base tune given by tuner(unigroup).

I fixed the problem with the maf(signal and power transposed), When I put the car to ignition the engine check light stays on and I have no connection to consult.

I have double checked the board install again testing from the 20 pin header to test points around the board to ensure continuity, I should also say my USB consult cable is one from ebay. I assume it works nistune see's it when set to auto.
I have also checked the connections to the consult port harness.

At a bit of a loss with it.

Update I did a diagnostic and it saying problem with boost pressure switch....but this was never plugged before any mods were made.

I'm thinking it might be the consult cable I have...dodgy ebay usb version as the ecu isnt telling me there's anything wrong.

Will order another from pete.

ok got it sorted. Turns out the battery would drop on ignition. Charged and it connected first go.

Now to sort out tune.
