Might have received half of the AFR string the first time which is why it said it was out of sync. thats good to hear it working properly on the unit after the troubles others were having with it

Makes me wonder what the cause of the issues were?

Yeah it could have been it because my car isn't running so maybe its because its not pumping out numbers for nistune to fully read. I think the main problem that people are having is installing the ports and drivers for the cable and wiring them correctly. Unfortunately for me it was mainly the incorrect wiring haha.
