my main pc is windows 7, but i did this before on my last pc which was xp.

im using the built in windows remote desktop.

i will try to get the things you need if i can figure it out.

Yeah but the laptop would be running Windows XP Professional (SP3) which includes Windows Remote Desktop server. You cant get it seprately with XP Home (only the client)

Okay so the PC running the Windows Remote Desktop client is Windows 7. Thats fine, I do a similar thing when logging into the lab to check on things

Does Help > About show the version as 0.10.14 T1 ?

I'm not seeing the 'T1' part in the log file to show me that is the test version exe that you are running

That zip file with the new Nistune.exe and Nistune.sig files was meant to be put in that program files folder on your laptop. The Help > About is still showing 0.10.14 instead of 0.10.14 T1 so those files mustnt have been put in the correct location

ok i did it again, not sure what went wrong, the buttons changed compared to what im used to, so i know i copyed the files.. i reinstalled .13 and then copyed the files you gave me back over.. so heres a log and heres a pic of the version, it shows the T

okay thanks for that. yeah gets stuck in the same location. I'll try a remote login session setup here on a spare harddrive and see how it goes
