RB25DE+T Question

Just thought id keep yas updated.
Cas base timing was the issue causing the engine to cut.
Engine made 327 rwhp on the dyno last night.

Unfortunatly a wastegate issue and a nasty boost spike afterwards made the bottom end let go. LOL
Good thing i have a spare bottom end at home.

thanks for keeping us posted. Its good to hear the good results (unfortunately sometimes usually followed by some sort of other unrelated damage) that people are getting

r32pat, what was wrong with cas base timing and how did u fix it ?

Hey mate sorry for the long reply, i havent been on the forums in quite a while.

Honestly i cant remember exactally what i did but we had to retard the timing a bit.

Unfortunatly the car is out of comission at the moment getting a different engine so im unable to go out and hook the timing light up for you and give you the exact figure.

Are you having a similar issue to what i was having ??
