It is not on the list at this time. I've only sold a small amount of boards for this model and there are a number of different ECU part numbers so it is not a priority

The ECU is very similar to the other NEO ECUs so no doubt it would be supported easily. No I dont have an ECU to test on at the moment

Thanks

Hey Matt & PL, first off thanks for the new updates and documentation.

I've got an 80F00 S14A SR, can I use either the base logic fan control in it or maybe the new fan control feature without updating the board firmware?

Right now my fans are wired to come on as soon as my ECU sees power, which makes starting and warm up non-optimal. I'd also like to avoid putting a cheap fan controller in the circuit.

Cheers

The only option you have is adjusting the flags in the fan table to activate within the existing temperature bands. So you can turn fan 1/2 on in different bands by adjusting the bitmask values in the table

You cannot change the temperature band values without feature pack loaded

Update to main post:

From 1 July 2015 I will be charging to reprogram boards and install flex kits to ECUs. The fee is half that of the normal ECU installation fee so the cost will be $30AUD plus return postage. This includes:
- Reading out current base tune
- Reprogramming board to required feature pack
- Installing board in matching ECU and importing previous tune and upload, burn and test
- Repacking board and sending back out through post office

Installing flex kit includes
- Wiring in flex sensor board to ECU
- Testing flex board using simulated flex output device
- Updating feature pack (as per above)
- Checking ethanol content display in software during bench testing

Board postage: Australia $16AUD express, $25AUD USA/Canada/Asia and $30AUD other countries (Europe etc) for registered airmail. $5AUD extra for EMS (tracked and fast postage)

This is to cover the extra time and effort taken doing the updates (which are being done for no charge at this time). Standard installation (as part of purchase with flex kit) will be no extra charge

Attached are Feature pack updates for Type 2 boards

Covering models: BNR32, HCR32, Z32
(includes RB25 using R32 ECU)

- Add crank enrich table (vs ethanol content)
- Add invert flex tickbox [Bit 5]
For tuning existing E85 tunes with fuel and timing reduction when on 98 octane
- Add knock count reporting back for HCR32

I'm taking a little longer than I thought to install the Z32 ecu and wiring harness in my Z31.
So with this new update you can run and tune on E85 first the add 93 octane and reduce timing and fueling instead of the previous way of doing it?

I already have the flex board and the feature pack installed.
I'm having a brain fart today so do I need to send my ecu with flex board to get reprogrammed or just installing the updated software into my laptop will do the trick?

Thanks

hey matt. is there any chance you could get the feature pack for 3j501 p11 ecus released any time soon. just ordering a base image programmer to update mine and realised that 3j501 isnt on the list of supported feature pack ecus for p11 primera.

thanks
Daniel

Yeah it would need to be sent in to update the feature pack if you wanted the inverted flex maps. Its coded added to the ECU board (as well as nistune software on laptop)

Yes I can probably do that one. I've been updating the patcher code to make it more flexible so I can run it over different ECUs without having to manually work out which sections of code need patching

It will come out when I have done the rest of the Type 3 / 4 boards. At the moment I'm working on Type 1 for CA18/VLT/Z31
