Howdy
Just got the car running with the board,idles fine but the lights are flashing as if the diagnostic screw is turned into mode select..not sure if its supposed to be doing that,otherwise its fine..Car is a 1987 300ZXT.The diagnostic screw is removed by the way.

when you cut the diagnostic pot it does that. I'm happy with lights flashing it means that the ECU is indicating its functioning with board installed

You could also short the connector to do the opposite but you dont really use the LEDs when you can read the O2 sensor and DTC data from the ECU directly with the software
