Seems like the consult disconnects when im reving in high rpms... is this a common problem? Is there a way to prevent it from disconnecting?

If you have ignition noise entering the USB consult/Nissan consult cable it will cause disconnects when the frequency of noise increases (ie higher RPMs)
It is to do with poor grounding and shielding. Make sure ground from battery to chasis, engine etc are all clean and secure. Check connections around ignition system
Have a look in the hardware problems section of this forum which covers this problem also
