Maybe it is possible to add dyno option ?
I have piggyback with software with this option. You have to put the weight of car, gear ratio, wheel diameter, aerodynamic coefficient of drag (CX), and dimensions of frontal area. And it works great, of course it show power on wheels.

its on the list but I need to do a bit of research with that one. Of course we recommend to tune on a dyno so its not high on the list of priorities at this stage

hey matt,

check this out..

http://members.fortunecity.com/jasoncuadra/id47.htm

http://www.drivewerks.com/tech/street_dyno.htm

it is some calcs that basically using the spark plug signal to roughly calculate HP..

like the street dyno
and the home dyno

you got to give it a try.. surely we can get a wav file on a dyno run and compare it.. pete might have a way of getting the signal down..

Hmm I guess you have to factor in vehicle wind drag etc etc it's not as simple as weight/gear ratio/tyre size....

lots more variables

yeah you do and you have to do it on a level road... tests showed accuracy of 2%... even if it was double that i would be happy.. just find a place mark a dedicated launch spot and see what improvements you get... if you know what your car is putting out anyway you can tweak the drag coefficients..

download it and see what you think.. oh and did i mention it was free.. no serial no trial just install and go..

see my thread about dataloglab.....it has a power graph function on it, you just need to add your car into the list of cars to make it work properly :D

not quite a quick add on. but something i'll look into when time permits. some of the more important stuff like map highlighting (not just knock maps, but all maps) need to be added in
