Hi Matt/Pete

Noticed yesterday on a couple of occasions

when setting up ER34 RB25DET ECU for new MAF sensor (in my case going from stock to Z32 MAF) on confirmation of calibration the Ghosted Map trace would shift OVER to the lower right portion of the map

Would this indicate a wiring issue ?
or is this some kinda software bug ?

Wanted to double check !

The weird thing is the car still runs n drives fine which I though was odd as I remember expriencing an incorrect wiring fitment on my CA going from Stock MAF to Z32 MAF and any wiring problem of the MAF when ignition was on the MAP trace feature would flick over the the lower right and the car would run like shit if not at all

So on the ER34 what I did was simply revert back to the factory MAF setting with the Z32 MAF still connected and naturally map trace returned to the lower left portion of the map and the car still starts n idles fine

The guy assures me that the wiring is ok on the MAF

( i never did the wiring on both the cars themselves) but wanted to check in with you quick as im tuning both engines on the dyno this eve after work

Let me know if you get this in time

Cheers 8)

(ps ill post media and results when finished)

when you adjust your MAF it will change the injection multiplier, which will directly affect TP

this is why TP will move more to the left on the maptraces. we also change rescaling which will change the position of TP on the map

what i ended up doing matt was leaving as it was and changed the scaling only slightly and the session when well

ill post results as i finished up on the customers car last night on the dyno

turbo was a 3037 at 1.4bar dropping to a bar
