Q45 Ecu complatibility progress?

Matt,
I ran across a thread on nicoclub where there was talk of modifying the stock q45 rom to fit in the Nistune code so a stock Type 2 board could be used in place of an emulator. Has there been any progress on this?

I might have my swap running in the next couple of months and I'd love to not worry about the Romulator.

Yes Q45 8 bit is supported by Nistune now. We took out the high fuel maps to fit in the code and it works fine

However 16 bit not so lucky. Type 3 board with standard Q45 image in there works fine. However trying Nistune firmware does not run. Something to do with trying to access our routines outside the standard ROM area causes consult not to run

Only other thing I could do is put my firmware around the Dxxx address range. This seems not to be used so if there is demand that could be a solution
